Standing proud and tall, these inquisitive King penguins are magnificently reflected in a pool on Heard Island. Often mistaken for the larger Emperor penguin, these birds live and breed on the sub-Antarctic islands, whereas Emperors are restricted to the icy Antarctic continent.
